The ThreeOneSix Question – Cask Ale Week 2020

Do you want to be brewer for the day? Then you must answer this question...
Why do we call our beer 316 ??

To celebrate Cask Ale Week 2020, run by the lovely people at Cask Marque, we thought we would run a little competition giving you the chance to be a brewer for a day with us at Grain, or to win some other Grain goodies.

The Prizes!

Top prize is to become a brewer for a day at Grain in Norfolk. We’ll put you (and a plus one) up for the night in one of the nearby luxury shepherd’s huts overlooking the Waveney Valley, and then you spend the day at Grain brewing beer and learning a whole heap of information about what goes on at the brewery. It’s a hands on experience so you’ll need to wear your scruffies.

Because of the covid shitstorm we are in, it is unlikely we will be able to host you until next spring, but your brewer’s day is guaranteed and will be something to look forward to over the winter months.

If you don’t win top prize, there’s also the chance to win one of four of our runner’s up prizes of a beer 3-pack and Grain tote bag.

How to win

You need to answer this one question…

Why do we call our beer ThreeOneSix?

We are often banging on about our beer ThreeOneSix, as it is our favourite brew, so if you have followed us in the past you may find our ThreeOneSix question easy, or if not, we will be posting the answer on social media during Cask Ale Week, but be warned, we will also be posting false negatives. If you search our website, you can find some big clues in there too.

Tweet, facebook or Instagram post your answer, and be sure to follow us so we can message you when you win!

We’ll be livestreaming the draw of correct answers on Tuesday 6 October at midday on instagram, so remember to follow us and tune in.

Best of luck!
