The countdown is on for Grain Fest 2019, which takes place at the brewery on 29 June from 2 until 10pm.
You’ll find a barn full of beer with all our cask ales as well as a few guests, and we’re looking forward to using our new keg wall to feature some special brews as well as our thirst-quenching Pilsener.
**SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 12 June 2019**
We have royalty amongst our guest beers this year, as we will be featuring Good King Henry from Old Chimneys Brewery alongside our own beers. But get this…it will be available for the first time ever in Key Keg. This could be your only chance to try it in keg, or it could be the taste of things to come, so don’t miss the opportunity.
There’ll be plenty of mouth-watering food available from our local favourites – Crispy Pizza’s wood fired pizza oven, Jimmy’s BBQ, and Alburgh ice cream.
We have a great line up of musicians for 2019, ranging from soothing folk to old school blues and funky jazz. Here’s what’s happening:
In the afternoon
Chris and John – two thirds of jazz act The Speckled Band
Danny Harris – local folk hero on guitar
Into the evening
Paul Gillings – blues guitar and harmonica (World Champion no less)
Butcher’s Dog – Headlining with their funky, dirty rock’n’soul music
We will be using reusable ecocups this year, with a refundable £1 deposit on each cup. Well behaved dogs and children are welcome (but keep them under your watchful eye). Parking as ever is limited, so do your best to walk, run, cycle, or fly to the festival, but however you get here, we look forward to seeing you on the 29th.
