SMASH Vienna + Wolf
For this one we have used 100% Vienna as our single malt - not a variety but a malt style, often found in German dark lagers and Bocks. Locally grown, then locally lightly kilned, Vienna makes for a golden colour, with good body and a malty, toasted biscuit backbone.
Then we've added Styrian Wolf hops, one of the latest hops to be developed by the Slovenian Institute of Hop Research. We find they create an orange aroma, with a gently spicy and resinous, deep finish.
