Good King Henry V

This fifth descendent of Good King Henry is brewed to the original recipe, then oak-matured and finally blended with madeira port to give this wonderful beer even more richness.

THE HIGHLY ACCLAIMED IMPERIAL STOUT HAS A FLAVOUR SPECTRUM THAT ENCOMPASSES ROAST MALT, COCOA, CARAMEL, FUDGE, TREACLE, COFFEE AND MUCH MORE BESIDES.

GOOD KING HENRY HAS BEEN A FREQUENT BEER FESTIVAL AWARD WINNER SINCE IT WAS FIRST BREWED IN 2000, ACQUIRING SOMETHING OF A CULT STATUS IN THE PROCESS.

THERE'S NOTHING REGAL ABOUT THE NAME, HOWEVER - IT'S CALLED AFTER A RARELY-GROWN VEGETABLE.
STILL BREWED BY ALAN FROM OLD CHIMNEYS, BUT NOW AT GRAIN BREWERY.
