Grain Oak 3.8 wins its first award
Grain Oak 3.8 claimed first place in its category at the Eastern Daily Press Summer Meal Ale Tasting event, held at the St Giles House Hotel in Norwich on 18 & 19 May. The category was 'Best beer with a main course' and readers loved the full flavour of Oak 3.8, the perfect accompaniment to loin of pork with roast potatoes.
Events executive Oli Franzen said of the event 'At the EDP we are always keen to support local producers, but it is a particular delight to showcase our booming microbreweries, which must be the finest in the country.' He was spot on with that comment!

Grain Oak 3.8 is our cask-conditioned session bitter, brewed with the very best East Anglian pale ale malt to give it its amber colour and moreish maltiness. A generous mixture of hops provdes the balance of bitterness and delicate floral aroma, and gives Oak its ever-growing reputation and following. If you haven't yet tried a pint and are wondering what all the talk is about, try it in one of these pubs, or give us a ring and join us for a taster at the brewery. |
