The brewery is ready

It feels like a long time since the equipment first arrived at Grain, but after much planning, lugging, hammering and welding, Grain Brewery is ready to make beer

	Geoff cleaning the old paint from the upturned Conditioning Tank		Two of the CTs reclad, cleaned and painted. We did the same to the Fermenting Vessels

	The bottom of the Hot Liquor Tank which we made from a vessel found at a local winery.		We converted the copper from electric to gas, with the help of Brendon from Iceni, after discovering power problems.

	Kel welding the stainless steel pipework		An auger was installed to run the grain up into the mash hydrator above the mash tun. It’s noisy, but effective.
